Hi there, flower enthusiasts! My name is Kelsey, the green thumb behind our farm's abundant blooms. I grew up a few miles from where I currently reside, in central Ohio, growing zone 6a. I am happily married to my elementary school crush. Yes- the same boy who used to beg to do my word searches in the third grade became my husband 12 years ago. We began a family with three energetic little boys on the same property where my husband was raised. We have a very active lifestyle, loving to spend the majority of our time outdoors.

My passion for flowers blossomed after I became a homeowner. I realized I enjoyed landscaping, planting flowers, and creating combination planters. Every spring, I'd be eager to learn something new, and soon, I began growing my annuals from seed. This evolved into a cutting garden that grew bigger each season. I discovered that my cutting garden was highly therapeutic, allowing me to slow down, destress, and admire God's natural beauty.

So that brings us to the second part of the story, where we got the name for our farm: 'Nudie Beauties.' My husband and I were able to purchase a piece of property adjacent to our home. However, this land was previously a recreational nudist campground.

Yes, you heard correctly, a nudist campground!

No worries, though; we were NOT members. After purchasing the property, we diligently transformed it to its original beauty. We feel honored that God has entrusted us with this space and are overwhelmed by the amount of potential. That's where our story continues to unfold. We dream of cultivating magical blooms of dahlias, snapdragons, and sunflowers to decorate the hillside.

If only these acres of Walnut trees could talk, we might hear the stories of the land. On second thought, we're grateful that we can't hear those tales of the previous scantily clad and mostly nude owners, but we look forward to what the future holds and sharing new stories at Nudie Beauties Flower Farm with you.
